In this 8 weeks Belly Dance Course with Asaki, you will learn Oriental choreography wth Veil to the music 'Inti Marakeh' from 'Modern belly dance form Lebanon'as well as all the basic belly dance movements you need to perform on the stage. Asaki especially welcomes aspiring belly dancers who would like to peform on the stage with her in near future.

Since the class level is mixed, this course is ideally suited for those who have a little belly dance experience. Yet if you are a beginner, you need not worry, as Asaki will break down each movement in the class and the first class will mainly focus on basic movements (no choreography in Lesson 1) so that everyone can start learning the choreography without difficulty from week 2.

Please bring your own Veil and Zills(Saggat). There will be several veils you can buy from Asaki on the first day but numbers are limited.

(Veil: lightweight fabric such as chiffon or organza. 2.0-2.5 m long and
1.0-1.2 m wide and Arab/Turkish brass finger cymbals).

You will receive a FREE CD contaning the choreography music. There will be a performance opportunity in Summer. You must book your space with payment in advance as spaces are limited and the class usually gets full before the starting date. Only if spaces are available, can you come in on the first day and drop- in for GBP12.00. Should you decide to continue the rest of the course, you wil be asked to bring the rest of the course fee GBP53.00 on week 2. But spaces fill up usually before the starting date so please check with Asaki to see if there are any spaces left the day before the course starts.
