Classes for Children

I have been dancing for 15 years and have never got tired of the buzz and energy boost I get from dancing.

I started dancing at a local dance school at the age of 9, in a small town in West Yorkshire. I was then granted a full scholarship to the 'Stella Mann Dance College', London in 1998 where I studied a 3 year full time Performing Arts/Teachers course and gained my Dance/Drama Diploma and teaching qualifications.

Since I started dancing as a child, I have always had an interest in teaching and started assisting at the early age of 14 taking on my first solo class at 16. At the same time I also performed in a cabaret group as a dancer, gymnast and in pantomimes and events such as 'Party in the Park' alongside stars such as Peter Andre, All Saints and Louise Nerding.

I went to college aspiring to eventually open my own dance school but before I even got to the end of my 3rd year I was offered a dancing job, working with a well known choreographer cruising Scandinavia. This eventually moved me on to working with Carnival Cruise liners in the Caribbean, 'Spirit of the Dance' in the USA and even Cheerleading for the 'London Bronco's' to name but a few.

As well as gaining a great knowledge of dance and the industry, I have also travelled the world, thus giving me a wide knowledge of different cultures and places. This has given me great teaching opportunities along the way, helping me gain vast and professional teaching experience.

I am now based in London to fulfill my dream as a dancer in the West End and a teacher/choreographer of my own school.
