ExpressionS Studios started as an idea in 2000. We wanted to open a centre for dance that would offer every type of dance under one roof. We wanted to offer classes to everyone interested in dance.

So we started looking for the right premises. In April 2003 we found the current location and immediately started negotiations. It took us many months in preparation. First we had to convince the council that having a dance school in this location was a good idea. We managed that in January 2004. Then we had to persuade the bank that we could make this business a success. By April we managed to do that as well. So in May 2004 we started with the building work, which finished in August 2004.

Expressions is now a registered charity which will hopefully open a lot of doors for funding of different projects. We hope to be able to maintain and improve the facilities and offere new services to all dance and art professionals.

We hope ExpressionS will truly live up to its name - Centre for Dance and Culture. We are offering you the opportunity to make this place your centre, where you will be able to learn, enjoy and have a great time!
